"Quit working" as in your hairs are still not clean and smelling good?My shampoo quit working.
I have the same hair I've pretty much always had - didn't straighten/curl, color, or even cut it recently.
I'm using the same water, unless the City did something nefarious.
It's not only the same shampoo as ever, it's the same bottle.
The only variable I can think of is recent surgery involving general anesthetic. Maybe my body is still under a chemical influence that is incompatible with my shampoo, but why would a) it go on this long and b) it involve more than 1/4" of my hair?

Pretty much. I shower and shampoo in the usual way, and don't get decent lather. It doesn't feel clean at all. Rinse, repeat does some good, but not as much as I'd expect.
Haven't changed hair goop, either, although I may be trying @slobake 's pomade one of these days.
Now, being at Walmart and my 89 cent shampoo is out of stock.....that annoys me.![]()

I read an article years ago in Men's Health about washing one's hair. It said that you shouldn't be concentrating on washing (or rinsing) your hair, rather your scalp. Bend your fingers inward and use the tips to scrub (gently) your scalp. When rinsing, use the fingertips to pull your hair apart and rinse the scalp as well. Your hair will still get clean, but the scalp is most important. Since then I haven't had a problem with my hair, even using hotel hard water or someone else's shampoo.

No they don't!....After just reading a post on TB I remembered that another thing that annoys me is when someone won't accept that others have valid opinions about things.

What I have found out is that there is an autosave feature on TB so if you go back to where you posted it should show up in the dialog box and you can then hit Post Reply. After making a post you forget to hit the "Post Reply" button.![]()

Thanks to a suggestion by @Pilgrim i use a scalp brush when I shampoo. Feels good and I haven't had much dandruff since I started using it.I read an article years ago in Men's Health about washing one's hair.
