Things that annoy you

I lived in the Zoo.....
So that was you making all that racket at night, eh?

UC, was ya a playing musician here in town back then? Living buy the zoo had to been pretty fun, gets a little crazy in that neighborhood. I live about 4 miles north off Vine.
The nighttime sounds were pretty incredible, and that was just the neighborhood. When all the animal sounds from the zoo were included it was really wild there.

A Top 40/disco band called Ocean. We never played in Cinci, just resorts and hotel lounges every where else, from Detroit to Gulf Shores, AL, to Charleston, WV, to Waterloo, IA, and other points in between, but never Cinci!

Drunk drivers. I was almost hit by one, today.
My friend was nearly struck by a driverless car rolling backwards out of a space in a Trader Joe's lot on Monday when the fellow who got out forgot to engage his emergency brake :nailbiting:

We just shook hands (actually he's more of a fist bump guy), he turned & stepped off the curb of the island we were chatting on, & he had to do a quick back jump as this car just kept going backwards and got wedged between the curb and another car waiting for a spot. I bent down to look inside, and there was nobody behind the wheel :wideyed: Seconds later a man of about 55-65 (old enough to know better) came ambling towards the car cursing, then was exchanging info with the other driver as we both split.

Gotta watch yer arse out there at all times!

People I know in that age group only use their parking brake if they're parked on an extreme incline, which is just nuts to me.
Anton Yelchin (Star Trek) is dead, because he didn't pull his parking brake.

Last week a senior citizen nearly hit my vehicle in a Popeye's parking lot, immediately after he'd just backed into another vehicle.
He was so befuddled after realizing what he'd done that he let his car start rolling towards mine as he was getting out to go claim responsibility for the damage he'd already caused.

His vehicle's front passenger corner nearly rear-ended me on the driver's side & I had a freshly bought amp in that exact corner, in front of the wheel hub so it wouldn't slide forward.
Oddly enough, I was more concerned for the amplifier, since I figured insurance wouldn't cover that.

I had a laptop get damaged in an accident with a van & my insurance screwed me by making it a comprehensive claim & raising my rates, even though I was not at fault.
I guess I should have let the guilty party's insurance handle the claim, and I'm wondering now why I let my insurance cover it & then reclaim from the at-fault driver's insurance.

People who defend marijuana smoking saying it's a totally natural and healthy thing to do tend to annoy me.

I don't care if people smoke, but it bugs when the try to BS themselves and others about it.

:)

Let's see how this one goes....
No smoke is good smoke.

But MJ when smoked (not rolled in a paper) is LESS harmful than cigarette smoke. That's my story and I'm sticking to it :)
