Yep! I'm the proud owner of two Gigantor t-shirts I found on eBay. Every now and then, someone who looks 50 (my age) or older will recognize the character.
My wife and I passed an old (and seemingly abandoned) Texaco station in Bow, N.H. I believe. Speaking of gas stations... Remember when they were service stations with mechanics bays and such? They're still around (two or three near me), but increasingly rare.
Hell, it's hard to find a gas station with a decent air pump (one with a pressure gauge that actually works).
Hess Stations around Southern N.H. have free air pumps, but no gauge. So while it's free, it's fill at your own risk (unless you carry a pressure gauge).
Get Go (Giant Eagle) and Sheetz convenience stores have free air pumps with gauges.

There was something super special about those rare sunday mornings I woke up early enough to watch Davey and Goliath. I had my favorite "softie" blanket that I used to take into the living room, lay on, and watch these guys with. Ahhh... remembering the days when if you wanted to watch something on TV, you had to watch it when it was on, or you wouldn't see it.
My brother and I were both HUGE Partridge Family fans. I remember one time he had to be somewhere on a Friday night and knew he was going to miss a new episode. The one where Danny thinks he's adopted. I taped it for him on a cassette recorder and we listened to it like a hundred times. I probably still know the dialogue to that entire episode.
Isn't it cool that some special memories of a simpler time seem to stick with us our entire lives.
Awhile back, I bought some episodes of the Davey & Goliath TV series on DVD but I have not watched them yet. It was such a good show with great "moral" stories and issues. There was a comedic parody done of it a few years ago called Moral Orel. Davey & Goliath was produced by "Gumby" creators Art Clokey and Ruth Clokey Goodell.
I was aware of Davey and Goliath when I was a kid, but didn't really watch it...my 'memories' of the show come from Nirvana's unplugged performance, when they were talking about a particular episode while waiting for a guitar to be retuned.
