Carnation Breakfast Squares (the chocolate ones):

They probably had very little nutritional value, but BOY, did they taste GOOD!! Kind of like a cross between a brownie and a made-from-scratch cake. Nothing I've ever eaten before or since tastes quite like it.

Marathon Candy Bars (not to be confused with the current Snickers Marathon or Marathon Energy Bars). the Marathon candy bar is long gone; however, I discovered that Cadbury now makes a candy bar called a Curly Wurly that is the same type of weave design chocolate covered caramel.

The Marathon Bar was a full eight inches of braided caramel covered in milk chocolate. M&M/Mars introduced it in 1973 and thanks to its bright-red package and extra long size, it stood out among the competition. Inch markings printed on the wrapper showed just how long it actually was. The length was the result of its braided shape but it didn't actually weigh more than standard candy bars of the time. When sales didn't meet expectations in 1981, M&M/Mars discontinued it.
