We used to stay at one of those that had a bar. They gave us the "band room" which was absolutely disgusting, but enough free pitchers of warm tap, you got an amazing nights sleep.

I love the old bookcase games. I collect Avalon Hills games and play them from time to time with friends. Rail Baron is a classic and a great fun too. Panzer Blitz, Panzer Leader, Dawn Patrol, Richthofens War, Aquire and Diplomacy all still hold up well.

Yes, it does and on purpose. Crazy Clock and Mouse Trap were both made by Ideal Toy Company and came out about the same time. For some reason, Mouse Trap became more popular and is still made today but by another toy company.

You can find at lot of thought-to-be-discontinued candy in the gift shop of any Cracker Barrel restaurant. I particularly enjoy the Bonomo's Turkish Taffy. IIRC, the 60's commercial depicts the end-user smacking the intact candy bar on a hard surface to produce more manageable glass-like shards. Yes, it's hard to believe that we've survived into our 50's and 60's.
