I also would have accepted a picture of a chicken.
You might not know it, but spirograph was implannting some pretty spiritual views about the universe into our young minds!
WAY too far along the evolutionary path, whereas the only significant change in alligators over the past 30-odd million years is that they've gotten smaller.
Things you don't see anymore;
An audience attending a concert without each and every one of them holding their cellphones in the air to record the action.

Ewww...the "Deluxe" version doesn't appear to be anywhere near the original.
At work so didn't have enough time to mess w/ the online spirograph.
Loved my original as a kid though!
