Do they still have these carts at Laundromats?

I have a couple of goose-down comforters that are too large to fit in my washer at home, so I take them to a nearby laundromat once or twice a year...those carts are all over the place there.

Did anyone ever actually own one of these? Not sure if my parents were too cheap, or too smart to ever get me one, but I wanted one badly.

Actually, there's a guy in town who has two of them parked outside his house. I have no idea who it is, but I see them when I drive past that house most days. They've been therefor years. Can't remember ever seeing them move.

YES...my brother and I each got one when we were kids...we worshipped him

My wife had a Plymouth Horizon when we got married. Hated is too mild.

She finally agreed to get rid of it after yet-another breakdown. I called one of those "cash-for-your-junker" places, when I told them it was a Horizon, they hung up on me. I tried another place, they were nice enough to tell me "no" rather than "click".

I sold it to a guy at the service station for the amount of the tow.

That was 25 years ago, I'm still bitter.
