Desp8te their public image, they are not a "horse buggy and feather pen" group. They use a lot of modern products, although they don't advertise it.
If you had a turn of the centrury car (20th) the Amish coachbuilders are the ones you want to restore the top.
One of the many things that average people are missing now.
There was a good sized creek that ran through our neighborhood. There were a couple of ropes tied to tall trees. We'd swing across the creek bed probably 25ft above the ground. One day a rope broke and a buddy fell onto a big chunk of concrete. He was in the hospital for a while with halos, pins and cables on his left knee and ankle.
Within a month a new rope was back where that one had been.
Many of us are fortunate that we didn't kill ourselves as kids.
The Union and the Bee were rivals for a long time. The Bee won.
Yes, most likely a minivan. A necessity due to their construction, unfortunately.
