Things You Don't See Anymore Part 3

Even the Amish use modern computerized cash registers and credit card readers these days.
Desp8te their public image, they are not a "horse buggy and feather pen" group. They use a lot of modern products, although they don't advertise it.
 
One of the many things that average people are missing now.

There was a good sized creek that ran through our neighborhood. There were a couple of ropes tied to tall trees. We'd swing across the creek bed probably 25ft above the ground. One day a rope broke and a buddy fell onto a big chunk of concrete. He was in the hospital for a while with halos, pins and cables on his left knee and ankle.
Within a month a new rope was back where that one had been.
