The world is full of good people, but unfortunately, we always have to watch out for the bad ones.
They are still around.
At community events in my area the Police, Firemen, City Public Works crews and even the Library had out stacks of them to kids.
This discontinued in 1975 because it was toxic, but it came out in 1888 so it most have did a lot of damage to a lot of people for 87 freaking years
Are these still around? I remember them actually hurting at times.

Sorry, the Milkshake Candy Bar is long gone. However, the Zero Candy Bar is still made. There were both originally made by Hollywood Candy Company. The Hershey Candy Company now makes the Zero Candy Bar.

That's where my first case of gas was born. I drooled over that very page countless evenings before going to bed. Back then I could recite the descriptions by memory alone. My parents weren't big spenders, and it was rare (if not impossible) that I ever got a "toy" that was over $25. All things on that page were so close, yet so far, and I wanted them so badly I could smell the wood and electronics. I think that has a lot to do with why I buy so many basses today. Simply because I can.
When I was a kid I used to look through these catalogs for hours on end in the months leading up to Christmas. In the pre-internet years this is all we had. Back in the day these catalogs had EVERYTHING a kid could want! Those of you that remember surely know what im talking about!
