That Sears Roebuck catalog No. 112 came out in 1902. $18.00 was a lot of money back then.
$18.00 was 10 years salary! You could buy a 4 BR house for $18.00 in 1902! In 1902, $18.00 was the gross national product of most Central American countries... combined! Whoa nelly!
I just looked it up. $18.00 in 1902 is the equivalent of $486.59 today.
Old console stereos and record cases/racks; every house used to have them in the 50s-60s, and even most of the 70s; now they are all but gone.
Great old tube amps, looked great sounded great.
I get them for free out of sheds, barns and old folks' houses these days and restore them.
Mid-Century furniture buffs and old vinyl fans will pay an arm and leg for em these days.
Barn-Find-Free, and recent restoration and refinish.
