LMAO...I remember those. I personally thought the gum didn't taste good but liked how you can blow and sugar would come out looking like smoke. My father smoked which I assume has something to do with it.I'm positive these have been posted somewhere here already, possibly even by me

There are several stores locally who still sell those candy cigarettes.
We have those around here too. Maybe I should start an online candy store. drool
The candy cigarettes I was referring to are not the bubble gum cigarettes. They are the sugar sticks like these. The bubble gum cigarettes are still made too.
These are just chalky thin white sticks of candy with a pink tip, not the gum that used to blow a puff of smoke. I remember those, too
I actually found these not too far from where you live
Last trip back to see mom near Wilkes-Barre, we took a day trip to the Poconos to see her brother ... one of the stores that sells a mish mash of odds and ends had 'em

I live in the Johnstown, PA area. There is a candy wholesaler in Altoona, PA called Blair Candy that sells both of them by the case if you want to order them.

Thanks for the tip, but I gave up the candy cigarettes decades ago for the real ones
Just had to pick up a last pack for novelty's sake
I use to have a large collection but have given them away as gifts. As a kid I was easily a pack a day or more, anytime I smell or taste peppermint I think of candy cigarettes. These are my last two left of the hard peppermint sticks with the pink tips. droolI'm positive these have been posted somewhere here already, possibly even by me

Those were awesome! They helped me a lot when I started smoking real cigarettes at 11! I knew how to look cool smoking before all my friends did.
He's very well trained, as you can see.
