So I have two old reel to reel machines at home I haven't seen portable ones lately are they still making them?
I will grab some pictures of mine tonight.
one is an old model that looks like a covered record player all wood case
the other is a newer maybe 1970's

Similar to what we had alluded to in your Four Word Story thread...8-tracks with Kraco speakers.
Had ones similar to these mounted in the back of my '78 fastback Mustang.
All treble no bass. Oh the most 'tinny' sounding things ever.

I had one of these date world globes like the first one when I was a kid. When it is flipped over, the date changes.
The Fisher-Price xylophone...
We weren't poverty-stricken dirt poor growing up but we didn't have money for the relatively expensive Fisher Price toys either. But a lot of our neighborhood friends had these and other FP toys so we got to play with them all the time.

I really must dig out my old hoard of Pixel Vision cameras, and figure out a way of putting them to good use, in this digital age.
The DeLorean. Believe it or not, my uncle still has his. I have no idea if it still runs or the last time he drove it.

As did I. I remember we bought a bunch of DVD's from our local store when it went out of business.
Every DeLorean I ever see, is always modified to be a replica of the Back To The Future vehicle.
I think I've only ever seen two in original condition, and not since the mid 90's.
