Good ad, lousy tapes. They used to jam like crazy and the sound quality was horrible.
Those made the world's BEST paper airplanes. You fold the edge back about 1/4 inch, and repeat it twice more. Tape it down and put a faint crease in the center and you have a flying wing. Make it nice and straight and that thing will sail an amazing distance. I sent one out a hotel window and it vanished into the twilight, still going.

The only toy I had was a stick. My brother used it to beat me about the head and shoulders.
A Thanksgiving tradition in my house, creamed onions. Mom made this since I was a kid. And now Hanover has decided to DISCONTINUE the product. I called them last week. They said they didn't like the quality of the onions they were importing from wherever they got them, so it was easier to kill off a family Thanksgiving tradition than source better onions. A sad day...
I'd be so obsessed with keeping fingerprints off of those that I'd hardly have time to play them!
We lived so far out in the sticks we had to have our sticks imported from the next county over.
I used to have the largest private stick collection ever compiled, which I kept scattered in the forests of the world.
There are some current companies trying to pawn off metal spinning tops as the same thing; but, they are not the same (see below). There is still one like you posted in my house somewhere. I used to play with it with my kids when they were young.
