I looked at my cassette player today. I need to digitize my old band recordings.
This photo reminded me.
In my 1987 S10 I had this exact Delco AM only deck with push buttons.
I was 16 and thought how antiquated. What is this? 1977, 1967?
But at night I learned the great experience of radio DXing. That Delco had great reception. I listened to quite a few far distant stations way back.
Something you'll never see now. Surprising to even see in the 90's.
I've heard this. It's in our local museum, or was, I think it's still there. Quite amazing how similar it is to modern music, much 1,4,5's in its arrangement. Iirc of course.
We used to make our own versions of this.
Cleaning out drawers. Ran across this. It had another purpose for lots of people.
