I know someone who had almost the same couches as #1 & 3--at the same time.
And he insulted my solid colour red couch.
(Which admittedly did take a bit getting used to, but wow--the pot calling the kettle black or what?)

The old washing machines with the wringers. I remember as a young tyke (circa late 60s) my grandmother had one like this. Hers was hand-powered with a big crank for the wringer.

The Mangle. Thanks...I'd been searching my memory banks trying to remember that word! Gettin old and forgetful can be a pain sometimes!Although, I sure do remember one in the service porch and my Grandparents’ house. The house staff would sometimes let me run the wet clothes through the mangle. A whole different world back then.
