8mm automatic butt-splicer. Didn't need it but for 50 cents, I had to have it. Patent date is 1958. Stainless steel and that awesome wrinkle black finish. I still can't believe the build quality on old simple things like this.

It's funny how old large format cameras with simple Tessar lens formulas could capture what are essentially "HD" images. That's a great pic.
One of the reasons I want another 8x10 - contact prints you can fall into.
