This is what we used to stash in our desks in grammer school.
Wet your finger and stick it in the pack. Nobody made a drink out of it.

Used do that with pre made Jello.

Hair singeing is burning the end of the hairs. A singe is a treatment available at a barber's. A lit taper (candle) or other device is used to lightly burn and shrivel the hair.

I used to go to a barber shop with wood paneling. The barber wore a white smock. They had a heated shaving cream dispenser. He shaved the back of the neck with a straight razor. Another interesting barber story: I went to a barber in town, who without asking questions just grabbed the top of my head and twisted it, as he was buzzing off hair. Most efficient hair cut ever. Reminded me of those bootcamp movies. He looked like he had murderous intentions though, so I never went back. The shop closed soon afterwards.
