I'm dusting off a brain cell or two to come up with this. I seem to remember that one of Frank Lloyd Wright's sons was the inventor of Lincoln Logs.
My short term memory is not that great, but I can still tell you that Pete Sears played piano on Rod Stewart's cover of "Country Comfort" and Ron Wood played bass. I remember that the way to tell the difference between a 1974 and a 1975 Pinto is that the exterior badges on a 1974 Pinto have a red, white and blue background inside the "P", and the badges on a 1975 Pinto do not. And of course I remembered who invented Lincoln Logs. But don't ask me what I had for dinner two days ago. When she met me, my wife thought that I had a photographic memory. She still thinks so, but now she tells people that I've lost most of the negatives...

I still remember in July, 1973, being horrified at paying $0.49.9 at a Standard Station at Lee Vining, CA (on my way from Yosemite to Tahoe).
How many people can you stuff into a mobile phone? 
I the 70s there was also pickup truck stuffing. Even had contests where you could win money. Dealerships and radio stations sponsored them. My local high schools had them. Having 40-50 people in the bed of a truck, plus as many people hanging onto the bumpers, and in the cab as could hold on. I’m sure a lot of people broke their suspensions that way! I tried to search for images and couldn’t even find any. Maybe people are so embarrassed they haven’t posted any.
We put 19 people in an International Scout one time. We could have gotten more in it but we ran out of people. It was a small town.
