Repairs..... pretty much of anything...
Here's another one for ya, Rod: The velcro closure cuffs on my otherwise-perfectly-fine yardwork gloves were falling apart, so I used a little bit of nylon webbing from a ratcheting corner clamp, and a bit of velcro cable-wrap to make new cuffs! :woot:

15 minutes' worth of work, and I don't have to go buy new gloves just for a little bit of velcro!

That's great. I wish everyone did this rather than 'throwing things away' ... we'd have more repair industry and less waste

Let me be of some assistance to your friends and family. This is what my teachers would wear in the 60s and 70s. Younger men than these two used to wear them with sandals. You never saw it in those days, but I think it would look good with traditional moko or pe'a bridging the gap between short and sock.

I guess this post is appropriate here, because...

He didn’t play bass, but an old friend was killed in a motorcycle accident yesterday. Mickey Tully, Class of ‘68

Rest In Peace, Mickey.
Sorry for your loss. I can only assume your friend went out the way he would have wanted.

Makes my post feel a bit inappropriate after that.
