If I had a flat yard, I'd own one. It cuts better than a rotary mower by far.
Yes, I bought one of those about 10 years ago, thinking it would be good for the environment and I'd get more exercise. What I didn't know was that unless your yard is darn near flat and has no uneven spots, it is a bear to push those things around.

Got way to much exercise in when mowing my yard...mostly from hurling the damn thing across my yard several times each time it would bind up or get caught in a small rut.

Yes, or the grass gets to a height where the blades do not go into the slots to cut. Or dandelions :meh:

it is a bear to push those things around.
Adjust the bar at the rear where the blade cuts so it just meets together and the thing will cut and rotate fantastic because you do not have the friction of making the blade start while it is scrapping the bar.

Mine is around 17 years old and is fast to push and throws up the grass well above my knees when walking, above the waist if you run with it.

I have one that I haven’t used in years. I bought it to mow my postage stamp sized lawn. It wasn’t the lack of evenness of the lawn that bothered me, it was having to pick up every twig and acorn off the lawn first so that it wouldn’t jam the mower every couple of feet.

He was married to Farrah Fawcett.

Plus, "Midnight Train To Houston" (which became "Midnight Train To Georgia") by Lee's friend Jim Weatherly was written because of Lee Majors and Farrah Fawcett. The song was inspired when Weatherly phoned Majors and the call was answered by Fawcett. Weatherly and Fawcett chatted briefly and she told him she was going to visit her mother and was taking "the midnight plane to Houston." Although Majors and Fawcett were both successful by that time, Weatherly used them as "characters" in his song about a failed actress who leaves Los Angeles, and is followed by her boyfriend who cannot live without her.

Also, the title of the Beasties Boys song "Lee Majors Come Again" is a reference to Majors.
