Anybody remember the name of this whirled up paper thing on a plastic stick that you flicked to extent it... And then it rolled itself back on the stick? Kinda hard to describe, but it's driving me nuts trying to remember the name of it.
Do you mean these? They are still made. The place I found them call them Paper Sword Flickers.

Yes. That's them, but there was a commercial brand of them that looked a little more sturdy, with a funky name like zoomerang or something like that.
Metal insulated picnic beverage jugs
When I was a kid, we did not have money to go on vacations but my parents used to take us on picnics to a local state park. We had a metal drink cooler similar to the one in the first photo and my mother still owns it. It was my job to make the Kool-Aid in the jug and I remember that to this day as such a simple thing that brings back great family memories of our picnics.

This one is so very much like the one my family had! I distinctly remember pressing and holding the button while holding a paper cup under the spout many, many times. I also remember tilting it to get the last bit of Kool-Aid or water out of it!Metal insulated picnic beverage jugs
