Ah, the outfitter of my youth.
I remember shopping at the Yonkers, NY Robert Hall store many times.

In particular, I remember using my mom’s desire to have me go to an 8th grade dance to increase my wardrobe. I was scared and felt I would look like an idiot in the clothes I had. So I convinced her to take me out for some new socks and a shirt. Brown corduroy.

I still felt out of place at the dance. :)
