I don't understand #10502; I just drove my 2017 model vehicle to work while wearing the three point safety belt that was factory installed in it, just like they've been in every car sold in the US since about 1970 or so.

The company could have kept the patent to themselves, or made other companies pay for the right to use it. They chose not to, inan effort at maximizing safety in the industry.

So you're saying "we don't see companies eschewing profits in the public interest any more"? Well, I'd say that has been pretty darn rare ever since profits and companies were invented.

Seems strange, doesn’t it? Doing something good for mankind instead of profit. I’ve been up and down the net looking for a hidden agenda by Volvo. Can’t find it. Not that you weren’t already safe in their autos. Those things are built like tanks.

My granpa's old Volvo had a garage door fall on it. The door was mangled by the stationary car.

Full service gas stations. Remember when for $1.00 of gas you could get your tire pressure checked, oil checked, radiator fluid checked, windows washed.

Yeah, I know. This goes back a long, long time ago.

Now, we have to do everything ourselves! Gas fill ups. Walmart check out. Telephone menus! On and on it goes. It's DIY WORLD now!

I'm angry with DIY! Help me out! Give me some service!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
