A relic from the parts box at my workbench... 
Colorforms! One of my earliest favorite toys that I can remember.
I should note (for those who didn't ever see one in person) that ""those" are two sides of one thing; Flip on one side, Geraldine on the other. The pull cord would alternate between catch phrases.

Every now and then while flipping through channels I'll see one of those infomercials selling the DVDs of shows from the 60s/70s, like the Flip Wilson Show, the Carol Burnett Show, and Laugh-In. Kind of embarrassed to admit I actually watched a good portion of those infomercials as I distinctly remember liking those shows when they were on, and it does bring back some good memories. (Even if I didn't always get some of the jokes on Laugh-In back then as a naive youth.

What's funny is what we thought was risque and pushing the envelope back then is ridiculously mild and tame in comparison to what's floating around out there today. Progress, I guess.

Big difference is that back then the jokes hadda be funny, clever, or make you think to 'get' them. On the other hand, lots of stuff that passed back then would never fly today. Think Blazing Saddles, or the homosexual comments/jokes in sit coms of the 70s and 80s.
Worry not, when we've drifted a little further along this path, these shows will be removed from the zeitgeist.
