The TV, drapes, wallpaper, table and lamp, knick knacks, throw rug…wait this is my current living room!
Ceramic panthers. Used to be a time when everyone had them on their coffee table or tv.
One of Prince’ wild guitars I photographed at the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame. Unique and a piece of art but the fret board and headstock are broken. Great artist and performer!

Not gonna lie: That still looks slick, and if I found one in a shop somewhere, I'd get it, and put it on a shelf here somewhere.
I used to see people rolling around with those on the dashboard and back window shelves of their cars.
Moxie is still for sale; I saw it in the Stop and Shop in Bedford, Mass. a couple weeks ago. For those who don't know, it's kind of like root beer on steroids. Far less sweet than ordinary root beer.
I've got some Duncan yo-yos (and a Tommy Smothers model, even), but those wide "butterfly" profiles just never worked well for me.
I just had two cans of Squirt last Saturday. Good stuff!

Hence, was born the term your dads and granddads used. “He’s got moxie”!
The word moxie comes from a soft drink named Moxie that tastes like sugary cough medicine and claimed it would “build up your nerve.” Someone who is brave enough to drink an entire can of that curious beverage clearly has moxie.
Another more direct definition is having the guts or attitude for a task. I like it.

I have had Moxie soda pop. There is a restaurant not far from here that used to sell it. It definitely is an acquired taste. It is still made and the last place I saw it was in the Cracker Barrel Restaurant Store.
