Did you notice the Gibson type “open book” headstock?
I think mine was made in Japan and very well crafted.
Clapton is reading Beano so it’s been around. That’s a young John McVie sitting next to him.

I still have it. Wore out many vinyl records learning chords and songs with it.
This was my first acoustic guitar, bought at a yard sale. Not great, but good enough to get me hooked.

After that, it was all over but the shouting.
In 7th grade, my friend in another band had one exactly like that! The red finish is memorable!
I know this should be in the trivia thread, but here goes anyway…...
Stephen Bishop (had a 70s hit record “On and On”) has appeared in several motion pictures as a "charming" character, including four directed by John Landis. Bishop had a cameo, billed as "Charming Guy with Guitar", in National Lampoon's Animal House (1978), as the aspiring folk singer whose guitar John Belushi smashes. Bishop still keeps the smashed guitar as a memento.
Never saw "Animal House" so I had no idea who that was. The band I was part of in Miami in the 70s did that song.
Never knew that was Stephen Bishop! Recycle this in the Trivia Thread. Save the Earth! Ha!
