Does it have the little window of spinning, interlaced CD's on top of the glass cabinet? Because the one at our local Pizza Hut did, and man, I could watch those things go around and around... for a while.

Does it have the little window of spinning, interlaced CD's on top of the glass cabinet? Because the one at our local Pizza Hut did, and man, I could watch those things go around and around... for a while.
Well, sucks for him then, and anybody else having to look at a boring old jukebox with no spinning CD's.

I'm starting to believe that if you look long and hard enough, you can find a pic of anything you ever owned on the good ol' internet!
It actually didn't take me very long to find this - my first stereo (not my actual stereo, but the same make and model; the brand is Soundesign), from 1978:
I was 16 when I bought it at the Mather AFB BX (base exchange). I wish the speakers were pictured, too. I added a Radio Shack cassette player (no "record" function; just a player) to the Aux jacks in the back, so I had radio, turntable, 8-track, and cassette. At the time, I felt like I had it all!
Seeing this is like seeing an old friend.
Now to track down that cassette player...
It actually didn't take me very long to find this - my first stereo (not my actual stereo, but the same make and model; the brand is Soundesign), from 1978:

Yeah , it pissed me off on this one. The guy's trying to get people in the theater and puts out a FREE ADMISSION sign. That doesn't work, so he puts out a FREE BEER sign and the place is packed.
No more free beer sign.....................
I saw this today and it had a dial tone. I don't even remember the last time I saw one of these that worked, or heard a dial tone.
