Harold Lloyd and Buster Keaton were a couple of total bada**es! Those guys had guts! No studio today would allow their biggest stars to do what those two did.

It actually didn't take me very long to find this - my first stereo (not my actual stereo, but the same make and model; the brand is Soundesign), from 1978:

I was 16 when I bought it at the Mather AFB BX (base exchange). I wish the speakers were pictured, too. I added a Radio Shack cassette player (no "record" function; just a player) to the Aux jacks in the back, so I had radio, turntable, 8-track, and cassette. At the time, I felt like I had it all!
Seeing this is like seeing an old friend.Now to track down that cassette player...
I remembered that it was boxier and sturdier than a portable top-loading cassette player. The baby is bare-bones! It doesn't even have a tape counter! But all I wanted was a way to play my cassettes on my stereo, and that's exactly what I got.
Don't let the red button fool you - it's a "Stop/Eject" button, not "Record."
I have the new version of Fizzies on my kitchen counter right now.
Oh man do I remember those! Late 60s. We (my siblings) always wanted to buy a large amount and put them in the next door neighbor’s swimming pool.

Those old NFL players were tough guys. They loved the sport...$$$ was secondary.
Art Donovan was a classic player too! Funny guy...he was on Johhny Carson, David Letterman, etc.

We didn't have steroids. If I wanted to get pumped up, I drank a case of beer.
I have no ax to grind. I was lucky. I played. How many guys play high school, college football never play pro football?
I'm a light eater. As soon as it's light, I start to eat.
The two saddest moments of my life were when my mother died and when I was told I couldn't play football for the Colts anymore.
The only weight I ever lifted weighed 24 ounces. It was a Schlitz. I always replaced my fluids.
I was 17 pounds when I was born. My mother couldn't walk for three weeks.

Lenny was the most fun to watch. He would be slipping in the mud, dodging tacklers in the backfield for half a minute before a receiver became open. He had eyes in the back of his head.
