That newer model looks much more durable than the old type. I think that would be a very handy tool to have.

But if I think for 2 seconds about Cubase... well, OK. I can live with the comlicated upgrades. We've come a long long way in 30 years. And I'm gettin old.

Loved that machine! But yeah, Logic is an Ok replacement. :)

My dad used one of those 10-1 scopes, "mini binocs" he called them, through the 90's and early 00's when he was still in charge of maintaing telecom tower sites up here. We dropped it so many times, momentarily terrified and expecting its, and our, demise. We were poopy kids. Unless my baby sister killed it, he probably has it still.

I JUST got rid of mine. I used it to death. Replaced the belt drive (rubber band) at least twice
