Why does Gilda look larger in size in that ad? Poor cut and paste!
In the late 70s/early 80s, I owned many issues of both Circus and Creem, with the latter being much more cutting edge and their own brand of humor thrown in. Nobody made reading a monthly calendar as much fun as Creem did with their snarky comments on certain dates and anniversaries.
FWIW, I never could get into Rolling Stone magazine. It just didn't jibe with me back then.

That there is simply a Magical Box! I can still remember the thrill when I got my first (actually an Aiwa). I eventually got the Pro Walkman (and still have it).
