I have this Disney Halloween Sound Effects Record Album.

I took a sound engineering class way back when tape was king and we had to create our own Foley sound effects library. We couldn’t lift record tracks because the dead give away “clicks and pops” but we used them to copy or mimic their sounds in our Sound FX libraries. I probably still have the reel somewhere…

We've got a couple of those... "Epoxy is your friend!"
Now that I stopped crying, I picked up up some JB Weld. The lamp is made from pot metal with the little tile pieces, so I can't braise, solder, weld, etc. I'll try the epoxy. It was also suggested to try gel super glue with baking soda. I know it makes something as strong as concrete, I just don't know if it will work here. Keep your fingers crossed. Pictures to follow.

Grasshoppers. I never see grasshoppers anymore
Neither do I.

Crickets are another thing I don't see (or hear) anymore. Of course, I don't spend hours playing outside in the grass and dirt like I did as a kid; that has a lot to do with the fact that I don't see as many bugs as I used to.

I know there aren't nearly as many butterflies around as there used to be in my area. But there's a lot more development now than there was back in the late '70s; the open fields are now covered with buildings and pavement. I used to see hawks every day; now seeing them is a rarity.

Good luck! Dang that sucks when something unique like that gets broken! I have used JB Weld on several things and it seems to hold.
