Ok, I admit, I may have done a few dumb things as a kid.
On a somewhat related note and I still chuckle about it…Ok, I admit, I may have done a few dumb things as a kid.
We were dogsitting for my aunt and that Top Choice was what she gave to her pooch, and the temptation was too strong. Its smell resembled meat, but the taste was non-existant, and had the texture of waxy plastic, almost like a drier form of play-doh. But most dogs only care about the smell, and scarf their food too quickly to taste it anyway.
And yes, I also tried a Milk Bone. Thought it whiten my teeth, too, as shown in their ads back then. (It didn't.)

I had a college roommate who was obsessed by Smurfs. Well, to be exact, he was obsessed by his hatred for Smurfs. I remember he made up the posters for one event:View attachment 5414666
In the 90s in Vancouver, I played a couple fill in gigs with a band called The Mutant Starfish. Their big number was a song called "Fun, fun, fun on the 401"... And their lead singer's schtick was deconstructing a giant blue Smurf during one of the other tunes ( I can't recall the title but it was on topic)
