Hold the phone! Can you say that on TB?So, basically Space Ding Dongs?

We lived at the top of a big hill and would drag race our spider bikes down the hill. I made a drag chute from an old bed sheet my mom gave me, and packed it in an old boy scout canteen cover i cut up, then used a piece of wire and some of the cord I used for shroud lines, to make a rip cord so I could deploy my chute at the bottom of the hill/finish line. Naturally, the other racers wanted one so we spent a couple days making drag chutes. One guy didn't have a pouch to use so he just rolled up his chute and put it in his lap, then tossed it when he was ready to deploy it. He got away with it most of the first day he had it, but late in the day he tossed it so the lines tied to the back went under his arm to get to his lap, but over his arm when he tossed it. When the chute blossomed, it jerked his arm so hard he lost control and went down hard on an asphalted gravel road which was like extra coarse sandpaper. The side of his face looked like it had been run across a really big cheese grater. Once word got around, bike drag races were outlawed by the neighborhood moms.
So, basically Space Ding Dongs?
If you can reference "Spaceballs," then I guess this is acceptable, too!Hold the phone! Can you say that on TB?![]()

Between that and lead paint chips (among other kinds of toxic exposure), I'd say we humans are lucky to be doing as well as we are!Leaded gasoline.
WOW, was used for many decades. How many children grew up breathing lead? No wonder the people of the world are soooo messed up.

I liked when I had to print a paper on my dot matrix printer and we just got the kids put to bed. That thing was so loud and took forever!
Plus we played outside all day...with no sunscreen!Between that and lead paint chips (among other kinds of toxic exposure), I'd say we humans are lucky to be doing as well as we are!
