Clackers were HUGE when I was in 6th grade. There was a store in a local mall that was just Clackers. Hundreds of different colors and color combinations. Some transparent. Some opaque. Some with sparkles.

I had a pair. Never could get them to work. I seem to remember they were withdrawn after a few shattered on impact and hit kids in the face with sharp fragments.

Ah, yes... These have come up in here before.

Those things were a favorite around our house. They still make similar things, just not under that brand name. The new ones have battery-operated lights in the wheels that flicker as it spins.

Pic of the "new type," for my fellow TB fogies.
The wiggly contour to the return arms is another new wrinkle, but it's still fun!

I had to get a new phone this weekend because my old one, which I was perfectly happy with, ran on Android 10 and I need some apps for work which only run on Android 11 and later. After setting up my new phone, I went to plug in my earphones and ... there's no jack to plug them in .
