i remember being able to smoke a cig in the middle of the mall.
i also remember being a kid and the ladies room (being too young to wait for mom outside) had sitting areas in them.
i also remember collecting baseball cards that you could buy in packs at your local drug store. that and being able to go to the corner drug and read comic books on the round wire rack
 
Back in the day, if you acted a fool in public, you got dealt with in public. Nowadays, folks are afraid someone will call CPS if they so much as swat their kid's backside a couple times.

I'm surprised they still allowing selling of cap guns, I can see a kid having fun, and some person panicking.

I ran around with them when I was a kid. I mean, cops and robbers is basically THE boys game.
