Yep, hidey holes are good in my book, and this on has a couple. I had a Cliff Bordwell ball bass a long time ago... kicking myself for ever letting that one go... anyway, it had the exact same case near as I can tell or remember. I always thought it was a nice case too. Lightweight and rigid with a couple pockets on the outside, and fabric covered outside with a zipper instead of having latches. I never went searching for a brand so it may or may not have had the same fender logo in the pocket... Thinking of which, that is very WEIRD. I haven't heard of Fender hiding their brand before and can't imagine why they would do that.
Whatever the reason, it certainly did catch my eye on the Craigslist ad and I considered the case as a big bonus on top of an already great deal for just the bass at that price.
