Thinking off adding one more pedal to this board. What would you add?

I play in a multi-genre band that plays everything from Linda Ronstadt, Dolly Parton & Willie Nelson to No Doubt, P!nk & Adele to Finger 11, Lit, Three Days Grace and Chevelle.

I am very happy with my pedal board but I have some rewards from Guitar Center that I need to spend and I'm pretty set on my basses and amp, and the reward aren't enough for a real pricey purchase, so I was thinking of possibly adding one more pedal to my board. If this was your board you were going to add another pedal, what would you add? Thanks in advance for your input.

If you don't actually need a pedal for your current work, get a total goofball effect, something to mess around on.

What kind of budget are you working within?

Looks like you have a pretty good amount of space on there.
Even though you already have a DI, maybe add a different pre-amp flavor and go for something traditional Ampeg, like a SansAmp BDDI or the SGT DI that the Appleton store has on the used shelf right now?

This being very close to my own board except for one effect, I would go for an (MXR) Envelope Filter.

Chorus, drive and envelope filter are the only on / off effects I've consistently found use for outside of utility like preamps, tuners and compressors.

As someone else noted, filling that space up with something fun couldn't hurt. And personally, I definitely find envelope filters to be pretty fun to use in a variety of genres for different purposes!

Some synth or synthy-sounding octaver pedal. In my case, it mandatory for lots of 21. century songs.

I don’t have much use for it, but one pedal I keep thinking would be nice to have for a bunch of one offs would be something like an HX One or a Plethora X1. Just to have the “options” available, and if I really found myself using one effect a lot maybe get a dedicated pedal eventually.

Maybe a digital multi-effects like a Valeton GP-50? All kinds of options in that one pedal. I've enjoyed my GP-5 and the new GP-50 looks like a real step up from that.

If this were literally my board I would add a fuzz since that is the only thing missing that I need for my band and typical playing situations.

For general use, I'm with the those who have already mentioned going with a smaller-form-factor multi like the HX One or equivalent that can give you access to lots of usable sounds you don't currently have like octaver, delay, reverb, etc. For example, I love my trusty old EBS Octabass, and octaver is an effect lots of bassists can use, but there is a patch in the HX One that is literally almost indistinguishable from the Octabass (it is based upon it) and the price of the two pedals is practically the same.. but that is just one of tons of options on the HX One. I will caution that the HX One uses more current than a typical effect so if your power supply isn't up to it and you don't want to use the separate wall wart that comes with the HX One you might want to look at a different multi; I'm just mentioning this one because I have experience with it.
