Is it conceivable that replacing a set of strings with thinner/smaller gauge ones could cause buzzing that can only be heard when amplified?
I'm trying to get to the bottom of an issue I have with my bass/amp/pickup. It's described in detail here.
I have not given serious thought to this possibility, and I haven't ruled out others, but the strings definitely sit too deep in the grooves, so I wonder.
