Thinnest Right Angle Plug?

I am wasting a lot of space on my pedalboard by having right angle plugs with big horking right angles. I don't see any good reason for this design. There are just two wires in there after all. Why have nearly an inch of big right angle after it exits the pedal?

Are there Right Angle patch chords for pedalboards that have a flat transition that would lay up close to the pedal?

George L's and Lava are actually some of the biggest I've used. You'd think they'd be small, but they're not.

Those pancake plugs mentioned above are the shallowest, but they are very wide and I quit using them because they were so wide that I couldn't route them like I wanted to. Half the cable is taken up by a metal sheath that does not bend or let your cables rotate. Now I use nothing but DiMarzio pedal cables. The connectors are tiny, and just a hair thicker than the pancake type. But the smallness is what makes them great.

but are these DIY? Or molded/sealed? I agree with pancake type not working everywhere, like MXR pedals with dc jack close, or Source Audio pedals. Those look sweet

Those can be a problem because the sides of a lot of pedals aren't vertical, they have a slight angle.
This horribly overstated example with a red straight connector: /_\ ̶ /_\ shows that a lot of stress can be placed on the connector and/or input jacks/PCB of the pedals.
Boss pedals are probably OK though.

They are molded and sealed. They offer them in 3 different lengths, but if you need a custom specific length they are not for you unless you want to chop off one end.

They are also stiff. If you need to snake them around corners and sharp bends, they are not for you. But I love them :)
