This is amazing...

Yes, this site is full of cool guys like that. I was in a similar jam with my amp that went out a few days before I had a busy gigging weekend. I needed a head just for the weekend to get me by since I was kind of broke and really couldn't afford to rent one so Tom Bowlus lent me his Eden Traveller 550. Great little head with tons of punch from a GREAT TB'er to boot!!! He lived 2 hours away so when I was done he said just drop it off at a shop here in town that him and I both go to.

Just goes to show you what great people we have in here. Neuroticism deserves a place in the TB'er Hall of Fame, along with several others like Tom Bowlus, Embelisher, and others who's names aren't popping in my head right now. It's guys like these that make this place what it is!

WHOA!!! That is awesome! Maybe there should be TB awards. If this already happens, I want to know how I can vote.

Seriously wow. I have been here since 2000 and have always found help, instructions for DIY projects, and advice from those who are more knowledgeable than I, but never thought something like this would happen on the net... anywhere. I mean first Anthony Jackson chimes in to give advice to one of us and now THIS!? Awesome. I've got goosebumps. :)

To the people that have read my thread about the car accident and the destroyed basses and even those who did not, I received a very interesting and amazing PM from a TBer named neuroticism.

I decided to make a new thread because I think that everyone should know about this. Here is my original response in the car accident thread.

You all should know that TBer neurotictim, actually offered to loan me a Schecter 5 string to help me get by until I can get a new 5 string. If that is not amazing, I do not know what it. Step up and give this guy props, what a guy! I keep telling everyone that TB is the reason that the internet was invented, this proves it. Simply amazing... I am awestruck. TB is the greatest!

***Edit: I should also mention that I have never met this guy and he doesn't know me from Adam, yet still made the offer.***

***Edit 2: NeuroticTim is also serving our country in the Navy. He is truly salt-of-the-earth.***

After the kind of day I have had..... I needed to hear something like this! There is hope yet still! Kudos to Neuro!

I was at my dad's house tonight for a dinner party and told the story about how a guy I had never met actually offered to lend me a 5 string until I could get a new one and a few of the women, including my dad's girlfriend started crying. The same thing happened the last time I was there and told the story about the Softball player that hit the homerun and got injured so the other team's players carried her around the basses. Pretty heavy stuff... I just wonder when Sports Center is going to do an expose on TB...:D
