If birds are so intelligent then why don't the turkeys and ducks learn to stay away from my ponds and fields??

Regarding the original topic - A cat was shot through the head with an arrow and lived. Yes, that is wrong. Very wrong. I'm sure that whoever shot that cat agrees. When you shoot an animal through the head, you expect it to die instantly. Anything else is just wrong.

Yeah I took him last year during the spring season in April. It's not my thanksgiving bird...the legs on wild turkeys are too tough for that. He was big though! I made fried turkey strips and turkey jerky with this guy.

Turkey hunting is the most fun I've had hunting. It's pretty cool to see and hear them respond to your calling and it's also challenging because they have such amazing eyesight and they're so skittish.

I'll bet it's fun. It looks fun. My dad watches turkey hunting on T.V. I've actually cought myself getting sucked into watching when I'm visiting him.

I guess I really shouldn't find this so odd - I happen to think that watching bass fishermen on T.V. is perfectly normal and educational...

I've become friends with a pro bass fisherman over the past couple of months. His name is Alton Jones. He's in my Sunday school class. I looked up his info on Yahoo sports. Last year he finished 17th out of over 150 fisherman.
