I have correctly guessed Marcus a few times from the modern Jazz station we listen to at work.
It also amazed me how much Them Crooked Vultures sounded more like Led Zeppelin than anything Jimmy Page or Robert plant ever did without JPJ..... I'm just sayin'

How many of these already posted can be recognized by the bass sound alone,
and not by the way it is played. Some bassists are instantly recognizable by their playing,
maybe in combination with their sound.
But which of them do you think you can identify if they just played simple scales?
