That's just... stupid.
It's only stupid until a clever person comes along and understands why it isn't stupid and does something amazing with it.

That's just... stupid.
I can imagine becoming suicidal attempting to do a setup on one of those.
I would also like to hear the soloed track from the side that rubs against the body, then experiment with different clothing fabrics to find "my sound." That age-old saying that tone is in the hands is about to take a backseat to corduroy, my friends!
Excuse me, sir. Are you raining on my joy parade?I'm thinkin you might be enjoyin that a little too much buddy...
How about playing "Do Ya Think I'm Sexy?"with some rythmic pelvic thrusts against the body side!I would also like to hear the soloed track from the side that rubs against the body, then experiment with different clothing fabrics to find "my sound." That age-old saying that tone is in the hands is about to take a backseat to corduroy, my friends!

Great as a practice instrument.
Great for gigs if you need both a fretted and a fretless bass.
Reduces the number of cables, straps and gear in general (gig bags / cases, stands, ABY pedal for switching instruments, etc) you need for the same functionality.
How stupid is that ?
i have to believe this. (fun vs. serious.) a P that could be turned over to a J could get some attention/traction here on TB, IMO. a club could be started.Sounds like some builder was mostly just having a little fun.
