It actually reminds me of the movie 20,000 Leagues Under The Sea, I mean, the old version (is there a new version? i dunno). Anyway, in the beginning, that main guys are sitting around when the houselady comes in with tea and one guy bursts out "I didn't ask for tea! DAMMIT WOMAN I DON'T WANT ANY TEA!"

Yes and no.
Yes in the sense of "a woman's job is to unthinkingly obey and please her husband". That's just wrong.
No it terms of "if your partner has had a rough day, doing what you can to make home a place of comfort and peace is a Very Good Thing". That is great thinking, and applies to both partners in a relationship.
Shall we call the ambulance for you now??

I'm not convinced it's real. Anybody got any evidence for it's authenticity? Looks a bit spoofy I think.
I'll bet that article was pretty laughable back in 1955 as well. At least to younger woman getting married then.
