The cover band ive been in for about 3 years is kinda of in a drought so to say. We still pull in a decent crowd but its not getting bigger for the amount of shows we are playing. Every now and again we will have a big day dont get me wrong. But as for this whole thing I think its mostly to do with the area we are in (The music scence is pretty slim here). Or it may be the fact that we dont have any originals to show our creativeness and to help us progress. My question for all the of you with a PhD in music. Is what would you perscribe to get to the next level?
but if you play at a few regular joints, the locals will start wanting more original and less cover...to which you respond buy selling them a cd with the originals on it.
