Thoughts on the Ampeg PR-410HLF

I've heard good things about the Ampeg PR-410HLF. Most say it sounds great but really heavy. I know that it's no longer available new but see them on Craigslist and ebay.
Anyone have experience with this cab? I'd be using it with a SVT7PRO

I used to have one (at the same time as a 410HLF and 810e), it's sort of an industrial strength 410HLF. It ican handle a lot of power, but it was too heavy, I sure don't miss it, there are far better choices available today.
I suppose that if you don't mind the weight,and you can find one cheap, it might be worth a try IF you like the HLF voicing.

I have one. It needs an HPF. Pretty boomy if you let it get away from you.

I use a 410 hlf in our rehearsal space. Initially I too found it boomy but easily tameable with some bass eq cut. It sings the best with my V4B, I find.
