This is still my favorite forum for all that goes on in the internets.

That's why I said trying to like. Either I am not getting it or, I haven't found one that I really like.
The 80's 'Ray has some likeable aspects though...some.

How about ActiveBass? Apparently that place is still in existence. I always hated the forum interface there.
I do like the build quality and playability of EBMM stuff, tone wise I gotta have that passive Fender vibe.
I'm not as active around here as I was way back when, but I've found myself coming back every now and again. I practically LIVED on these boards back in '02/'03 when I was at the tail end of high school.
I remember spending a lot of time drooling over John Turner's 7-strings. My hands hurt just thinking about playing those now.

I still recall Dave's letter in Bass Player mag (a few years ago)...where he professed his man crush for Mike Dirnt.
Mike Mills may have been on the cover.
Funny how no matter the forum, event, community some people always think that everyone after their entrance sucks, is clueless or doesn't measure up. Bull........
