Threads w/ Multiple Parts...

n00b here, but I've noticed that on all of the threads that have outgrown their original allotment of posts, have a pointer. It will say something like:


______________ Bassists Club (part 4)

1st post will say:

"this is a continuation from ________________(insert url here)"

when I click on the url, it says:

"server not found"

Just curious, not sure if you are aware, or not...

If this is old news, feel free to send me a link & delete, or whatever...

Hmm. Most of those links should work, but if there are some that don't, feel free to post a link to the bad link here and I'll get it fixed

I just used this search right now to find these.

it seems to go right down the line w/ the same results. Some of them, the 1st track back works, but, if I follow that one back, it may, or may not work, then on the next track back, it most assuredly doesn't work - from what I find anyway...

there was a major rework of the site a while ago, i suspect some of the back links may not work because the url changed but a search may turn them up (by title)

Yeah, in each case there is a little syntax difference that our redirects aren't picking up. The redirects translate old urls to new ones.

I can fix the urls but what I'll probably end up doing is just merge all these club parts together.

I figured as much - just figured you ought to know, since it's a pretty large scale problem. I also wouldn't know what to do about it, seems there's no easy fix - probably time consuming. Unless the XenForo support/forums have someone w/ a code to make the syntax error correct it's self...
