Two of these basses, I played before. I have to admit and would love to have two of them. The other is a really nice budget or beginner bass.

Nice Doc! The Sadowsky sounded the best in that setting.
I play both a Sterling by Music Man SB-14 4-string and a Peavey Cirrus 5. The Cirrus is by far my nicest and most versatile bass, but the SBMM is great for just being loud, nasty, and obnoxious! Here, certainly the Sadowsky sounded the best, IMHO.
Sadowsky number one! But the Ray2 sounds great especially considering the price.
