Three way muff love: BBM/GGG-tuned/Sovtek green

Well I'm having one made. Green russian with power supply, blend, mids knob and led clipping switch. Joy.

I've talked to one builder from UK and he would be happy to make Sovtek Muff clone for me But do I really need extra blend control? In this clip green Muff has great bottom end retention, almost like blended with dry signal.

Yes, even if you only blend 15 or 20%, it would make a world of difference.

i love the BBm (have it) but the others sounds nice too. i really adore that vintage sound, that you get with the BBM when the tone is at zero and the sustain about 2/3. i had a really digital distortion before, when i really wanted the opposite. (it's pretty effing sick running my BBm, distortion, and reverb, at the same time.)

No, there are NO blends in the clips.

I don't know why but to me anything that is based on the Sov-muff would do well with bear based art, Russia > Bear, bears are fuzzy, bears will eat you, and rend you, and so forth

I went with the make love not (cold) war motif and named mine what roughly translates as "fuzzy kitten"

I went Green Sovtek Muff years ago, but happened upon a Blue and Gray version. The fuzz is so sweet, it was unreal.
